We are specialized in diagnosing and treating diseases of the cervix, vagina and external sexual organs. If a gynecological cancer screening check (Pap smear) finds anything potentially abnormal, we carry out a detailed diagnostic examination. The type of disease, its cause, spread and severity are precisely determined in order to recommend an individual treatment adapted specifically to the extent of the disease.

This further investigation makes it possible to differentiate between changes that must be treated and those that can be monitored. Another important function of our center is differentiating between inflammatory changes and precancerous conditions.

Without these further diagnostic measures, no operation (conization) can be performed today based on a cervical smear alone.

If a surgical treatment is required, this will be performed by your attending physician as sparingly as possible but as completely as necessary – entirely in accordance with the highest safety standards.
