Nowadays, cervical cancer can be avoided or treated well with a whole package of measures. Early detection and prevention are essential. Prevention focuses on screening tests and HPV vaccination, which is 100% effective. Both are offered at Döbling Private Hospital. In addition, patients can have preliminary stages of cervical cancer treated here in the in-house Dysplasia Center by means of a gentle procedure (so-called "conization").
