Lung Center

At the Lung Center of Döbling Private Hospital, lung cancer patients are evaluated by a multidisciplinary Tumor Board.

Our modern treatment concept for lung cancer calls for close cooperation between all participating disciplines – from diagnosis to therapy planning and aftercare.

Diagnostics

The diagnostic options include lung function testing, blood tests, CT and bronchoscopy. Examinations with EBUS bronchoscopy (endobronchial ultrasound) can be performed at Klinik Floridsdorf, if necessary.

Minimally invasive surgical treatment

New, minimally invasive forms of treatment have now become established options for surgical treatment. In this way, it has been possible to largely do away with the fear of major operations. A hospital stay for the elimination of lung cancer now lasts less than a week. The key to success lies in a strategic combination of conservative and surgical measures based on the most recent research findings.

Dr. Michael Rolf Müller directs the Lung Center and also practices as an attending physician at Döbling Private Hospital.
